What We Offer
At APCS, every program is built on one belief: that every individual deserves the opportunity to grow, contribute, and live with dignity. Explore our five core services below.
Structured days. Meaningful moments.
Our Day Programs — known in Arkansas DDS as Adult Day Services (ADS) — provide a safe, structured, and engaging environment for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to learn, grow, and connect. Each day is thoughtfully planned to balance skill-building activities with social interaction and fun. This service is available through the CES Waiver.
Building independence, one skill at a time.
Life Skills Training — aligned with the DDS Habilitation service category — empowers individuals to manage everyday tasks with greater confidence and independence. From cooking and personal hygiene to budgeting and communication, our trainers work one-on-one and in small groups to build real-world competencies. Funding may be available through the CES Waiver.
Everyone belongs. Everyone contributes.
Community Integration — recognized under DDS as Community Participation Supports — helps individuals participate fully in the life of their community. Through planned outings, volunteer opportunities, and social events, participants build relationships, gain confidence, and experience the joy of belonging. This service may be funded through the CES Waiver.
Real jobs. Real purpose. Real pride.
Our Supported Employment program — offered as both Individual Supported Employment and Group Supported Employment under Arkansas DDS — helps individuals find, secure, and succeed in meaningful paid work. We partner with local employers to create inclusive workplaces and provide ongoing job coaching. This service is a core CES Waiver benefit.
Rest for caregivers. Care for loved ones.
Respite Care is a designated service under the Arkansas CES Waiver, providing families and caregivers with temporary relief while ensuring their loved ones receive attentive, compassionate care. DDS authorizes a set number of respite hours per year through the individual's waiver plan — our team works with your DDS coordinator to maximize your authorized hours.
Funding & Eligibility
APCS is an enrolled provider with the Arkansas Division of Developmental Disabilities Services (DDS). Our services are available through the Community and Employment Supports (CES) Waiver, Arkansas Medicaid, and private pay. Here's how the process works.
Individuals must be determined eligible by the Arkansas Division of Developmental Disabilities Services (DDS). Contact DDS at (501) 682-8676 or visit humanservices.arkansas.gov.
Once eligible, individuals may apply for the Community and Employment Supports (CES) Waiver, which funds most of our services through Arkansas Medicaid/PASSE.
Your DDS coordinator will work with you to develop an Individual Support Plan (ISP) that identifies which services are authorized and how many hours are approved.
As a DDS-enrolled provider, APCS can be selected as your service provider. Contact us and we'll coordinate directly with your DDS coordinator to begin services.
APCS accepts the following funding sources. If you are unsure what funding you qualify for, our team can help you navigate the options.
Questions about funding?
Call UsDisclaimer: Waiver eligibility, service authorization, and funding availability are determined by Arkansas DHS/DDS and your PASSE plan. APCS does not guarantee waiver enrollment or specific service hours. Please consult your DDS coordinator for eligibility determinations.
